RETURN SUMMER SCHOOL APPLICATION TO THE ATTENDANCE OFFICE
Starkville High School, under the authority of the Starkville School District, will run only one summer school session. The session will begin June 3, 2013 and end June 27, 2013. Preference for all classes will be given to Starkville High School students. Courses to be taught will strictly be dependent upon student demand. Seating is limited and will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Starkville High offers summer school courses for credit recovery (remediation) purposes and/or state graduation requirement scheduling conflicts. We reserve the right to drop a student from a class roll if that student does not conform to rules and regulations set forth by the administration of SHS.
Below is the schedule for the 2013 summer school session. Also, you will find attached costs, classes offered, and rules.
The Schedule for the 2012 Summer School session is as follows :
Session 1 (4 weeks) June 3, 2013 - June 27, 2013 (Monday - Thursday)
The Class times and maximum number of participants is as follows :

8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (maximum 20 students) - Lab I (Monday - Thursday)

12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (maximum 20 students) - Lab II (Monday - Thursday)
Tuition costs for classes will be $100 per course for SHS students and $200 per course for students out-of-district . All core courses will be offered. A student may take one course for credit recovery purposes. A second course will require administrative approval. NO REFUND ONCE CLASS(ES) BEGIN.
Driver's Education has 20 seats open. The cost will be $100 for Starkville High students and $200 for students out-of-district . Again, NO REFUND ONCE CLASS BEGINS .
