FY 2013 Budget Approved

SSD Board of Trustees approved the FY 2013 budget, totaling almost $43 million, at their board meeting on June 26.  

The FY 2013 budget includes:
●  20 SmartBoards at Sudduth Elementary School, $70,000
●  Scott Foresman Reading Street Common Core, Grades K-5, $200,000
●  Singapore Math, Grade 3, $40,000
●  Measures of Academic Progress, MAP (assessment program), Grades
K-3, $15,000
●  1 teacher at Ward Stewart Elementary School, $42,500  (due to
increased enrollment)
●  2 teachers at Armstrong Middle School, $85,000
●  Band instruments, $10,000
●  Sudduth Friendship Playground, $30,000
●  10 Buses, $135,000 per year
●  500 computers, $170,000 per year
