Mission

The Starkville School District provides our students the highest quality education in  a safe, healthy, and caring environment.

Vision

All students will learn, achieve, and succeed.

Goals

1.  The Starkville School District will be a high performing district by 2012 which means 65% of all students will score proficient or above.

2.  The Starkville School District will increase the graduation rate from 60.4% to 75% by 2012.

3.  Sixty percent of the Starkville School District's student population will participate in one or more non-core area programs in the visual and performing arts, athletics, advanced course work and/or community service.
